Pilates mat classes focus on strength, precision, and flow of movement. Exercises are presented at multiple levels allowing for a variety of student abilities. Students will learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core. The fundamentals and principles of the Stott Pilates Method of exercise are covered in each class. With special attention to proper form and execution of all exercises the Essential class is perfect for those students who are new to Pilates, or for those looking to deepen their knowledge. It is also appropriate for individuals who are recovering from mild injuries or have special abilities and are looking for a safe way to workout.
The reformer utilizes spring based resistance to assist, transform, and “reform” the body. This is ideal for all fitness levels. Our reformer classes are taught in a small group setting by one of our qualified trainers, who will individualize repertoire to meet your needs. This workout is guaranteed to create results that you will see and feel with in a few sessions. The Essential reformer class is the best place to start for those new to this class.
