Exercises are presented at multiple levels allowing for a variety of student abilities.  Students will learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core. The fundamentals and principles of the Stott Pilates Method of exercise are covered in each class. With special attention to proper form and execution of all exercises the Essential class is perfect for those students who are new to Pilates, or for those looking to deepen their knowledge. Aerial silks

Aerial silks is an athletic, circus art discipline most often associated with Cirque du Soleil. It involves paired lengths of fabric hung from above that are climbed, wrapped around the body, and/or tied to create dramatic drops, poses and movement above the ground. Participation in aerial silks helps to build strength, flexibility, coordination & balance. New to aerial? Start with our Intro to Aerial class before attending an essential class.

Aerial YOGA

Aerial yoga combines traditional mat yoga with the use of an aerial hammock. Utilizing the hammock you will experience various postures both grounded and aerial while improving your alignment and challenging your stability and stamina. We suggest having taken both a yoga mat class and Intro to Aerial prior to registering for this class.

LYRA HOOP

Also referred to as the aerial hoop, this suspended apparatus spins in a 360 degree motion as you learn to seamlessly create beautiful shapes. Pairing shapes with dynamic transitions you will also build strength to invert into your hoop which are most commonly hung at an arms reach. This is easily one of our most challenging classes. New to aerial? Start with our Intro to Aerial class before attending an essential class.
