Kayla Santalla began her love for dance at the age of 5 with ballet and jazz in Southern California. As she grew, so did her love for dance. She began to expand her dance horizons with tap, lyrical, and hip hop. Kayla was a part of her high school dance team, the Panther Dancers, as well as a Teachers Assistant under the Dance Director at the high school and the dance studio she attended. Kayla continued to study ballet after high school, maturing her as a dancer. Several years later, Kayla made her move to Texas where she eventually found Twisted Bodies. She quickly fell in love with pole dancing and has studied Pilates, Yoga, Aerial Arts and Pole Fitness under Khristen and Carissa.
In November 2014, Kayla joined the Twisted Bodies Team as an Instructor.
Kayla is also a performer and competitor for Twisted Bodies. She has performed at the International Pole Convention in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. She has also won first place at the Pole Sports Organization Southwest Pole Competition in the Low Flow category in 2018 and 2019 as well as second place in 2017.
