Loagan first began practicing yoga and adopted a plant-based diet at the age of 14 to develop a physically and emotionally healthy lifestyle. Yoga provided Loagan an avenue for building strength, trust, and confidence in her own body, as well as a deep appreciation and love for the diversity and resilience of the human body. Her personal journey through yoga, practicing Ashtanga and Kundalini yoga, inspired her to pursue a 200 hour yoga teaching certificate. Aside from teaching yoga, Loagan received her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas to teach mathematics grades 4th through 8th- she will nerd out if you ask her about maths. Her passions extending beyond yoga and mathematics include supporting local business, musicians, visual arts and environmental sustainability.
Tami began dancing in the 1997 when she was 7 years old at a local school club in Brazil. There she studied jazz, ballet and contemporary dance. Tami is proficient in all classic dance modalities, and ballroom styles such as Samba, Forró, Waltz, Bolero, Tango, Rock, Salsaw and Zouk rhythms. Additionally, Tami is also certified in all levels of pole. Tami obtained her pole certification in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from the esteemed Grazzy Brugner school. In 2009 she completed her professional dance certificate from the Ministry of Dance of São Paulo. In the same year Tami started working as a professional dancer with Theo & Monica Company of Brazil, and teaching classes. In year 2011 Tami was contracted directly by the Cia Costa Cruises for a European season where she worked until 2014. During this time, when not cruising the open seas and dancing, Tami opened her own school for dance, pole and Zumba. Luckily for Twisted Bodies she relocated to Texas and found the pink palace to share her dance expertise and love.
